There are several major television networks in Ontario:
- The Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC), Canada’s national public broadcaster.
- CTV, Canada’s largest private television network.
- Global TV, Canada’s third largest network, hosted on the Canada.com website.
- City TV – Pioneers of the concept of videojournalism and is best known for its unconventional approach to news and local programming.
- OMNI – Canada’s first multilingual/multicultural channel. It broadcasts 60% of it’s programming in no less than 15 languages to more than 18 cultures.
